Our Divisions
Each of our summer programs are tailored to be age appropriate and flexible to serve the needs of each child. After 1-2 summers each of our children “graduate” to a higher division, where they encounter new adventures, excitement, and challenges, all built on the CGI hallmarks of safety, fun, and unconditional love. Each of our summer programs are tailored to be age appropriate and flexible to serve the needs of each child.
Our daily combinations of Sports, Crafts, Swimming, Trips and Drama has children motivated, excited and on-their-toes. Summer highlights include weekly trips, like bowling, raspberry picking and hay ride, skating and a big trip to Canobie Lake Park. To run our specialized programming, CGI employs swim instructors, artists and specialist as we want only the best for your kids!
Junior Gan Israel (For Children entering Grades K-1)
Our Junior Gan Israel division blends the finest nurturing early childhood care with a broad, engaging array of CGI activities designed to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning; each day is carefully structured to balance warm, individualized attention with hands-on experiences in art, music, movement, nature exploration, and age-appropriate Jewish traditions, fostering social-emotional growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of discovery in a safe, inclusive setting.
Kochavim (For Children entering Grades 2-3)
Our Kochavim are primed for a fun-filled summer, having experienced the very best of CGI in summers past. They enjoy returning to camp with friends from last year and are excited to reunite with familiar faces, while also ready to meet lots of new campers joining the fun for the very first time.
Sabras (For Kids entering Grades 4-5)
The Sabra Division at Camp Gan Israel, for children entering Grades 4–5, is the beating heart of camp — a lively group where campers tap into the Camp spirit and the joy of Judaism every day. With age-appropriate activities, spirited song sessions, and meaningful moments woven into the schedule, Sabra campers build strong friendships, explore Jewish values, and gain growing independence in a warm, supportive community. Their enthusiasm energizes the whole camp, turning simple routines into memorable traditions and fostering a lasting connection to Jewish life and to one another.
Pioneers (For Kids entering Grades 6-7)
The Pioneer Division at Camp Gan Israel is our oldest and most seasoned group, embracing every camp activity and trip with enthusiasm while also stepping into leadership roles; they model sportsmanship, kindness, and responsibility, guiding younger campers by example, mentoring in activities, and helping create a positive, inclusive camp culture that reflects the values of our community.
